We like zeppelins!
Spongmonkeys. They like the MOOOOON!!!!
Love 'em or hate 'em, they are here to stay.
Just ask Quizno's.
Scary, scary stuff.
But hilarious!

And so it begins...
Last week I finally took my first step towards fulfiling my dream of going to Sweden. I submitted my application for the Master's Programme in European Political Sociology at Dalarna University College, located in Falun and Borlange, Sweden !!!
Yay!
The deadline is March 1, so hopefully I'll know within a month or so whether or not I've been accepted. After that, there are many other steps to go through before I actually get there (like selling my car, getting out of my lease, getting a residency permit, etc.), but at least I've made the first step of my thousand-mile journey.
I'm excited and optimistic, but I have backup plans, as well. I just found out about these programs, and this was the only one I still had time to apply to. If for some reason I don't make it ths time around, there's plenty more to apply to next year!
Sverige, here I come!
Update: just got an email from Hogskolan Dalarna that my application was received. Yay! International air mail actually works! It says I should know by mid-April.

"I'm on a...Swedish...whoa-oh...radio..."
Short post today, and it's all about Swedish Radio International!!
Link it, surf it, stream it. It's chock full of creamy Swedish goodness...
And in other unrelated news (though related to my last post):
They got rid of Jenascia on America's Next Top Model this week! She was the only cool one in the bunch (hot, too.) And to add insult to injury, they kept crybaby Catie instead of Jenascia.
Alas, Jenascia, we hardly knew ye.
(Read a transcript of her online chat here).
Peace out.
